JOB DESCRIPTION:
Working from home, this person will provide Engineering Sales cover from Staffordshire to Northern UK. Extensive travel is part of the role.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for sales to end users and specifiers for the Company's range of Steam Generators, Fire tube Steam Boilers, high temperature Thermal Fluid Heaters and Gaseous Effluent Thermal Oxidisers. The customer base is broad and includes the food, chemical, metal, pharmaceutical and marine industries plus important Public Sector opportunities.

You will develop specifications and projects to sell to new and existing users, thereby extending the current range of applications as well as finding and developing new sales opportunities.

Sales targets will be set by the Managing Director who will monitor your success to meet objectives through training and personal development as you become familiar with the broad range of products and services available from this International Group.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
A mechanical or chemical engineer with a proven track record in industrial sales within a steam or process engineering related environment is seen as ideal. Candidates qualified to Graduate/HNC level with clear potential will also be considered.

Knowledge of the area to be covered is preferred with the Candidate ideally being located around the Manchester area. The candidate must be able to work effectively without close supervision and must possess good organisational skills. The ability to communicate clearly with a capacity to prepare clear and precise reports is seen as essential.

Remuneration is in the form of a good basic salary plus commission and bonuses bringing on target earnings of to £40,000 and more. A quality car, contributory pension scheme and all necessary business communication devices are provided to ensure best use of resources.

This is a tough, demanding and rewarding job with a high degree of autonomy, which will allow the successful candidate to develop within a large industrial group.

Our client is looking to recruit a senior technical project manager to join their expanding team. Qualified and experienced Senior Engineer to work with the company design team, must be able to provide design solutions/processes for customers particularly in heavy industrial engineering markets.
The role will also include existing / new product development and project management , to include leadership in planning work through the business ensuring targets set are achieved, CDM regulations, Health and Safety, ensuring all aspects are adhered to at all times.
You will have project experience of bespoke projects both long & short term and come from a strong mechanical background.

This work includes all aspects of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure necessary for their successful operation. Due to the increase in the demand for these services, our client now requirea a mechanical engineer to join our team to carry out design and project management work. The design work covers the HVAC aspects of underground metro systems and the facilities associated with rail, road and utility tunnels.

The successful candidate will report to a Team Leader and be based in Surrey. He/she will manage the HVAC aspects of projects of various sizes, both from a technical and managerial perspective, using the staff resources available within the team. If appropriate this will be extended to include the management of multi-disciplinary teams.

He/she will supervise and check the work of junior engineers and support their professional development in respect of HVAC design.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop relationships with key clients and continue to promote our client effectively and the services they offer. He/she will be expected to play a key role in business development.

• Be degree qualified in a mechanical discipline.

• Have experience of leading project teams, ideally including outside UK.
• Have the ability to communicate with clarity both verbally and in writing.
• Be able to represent our client at a senior level with clients on both a technical and contractual level.
