£14.50 - £17 Per Hour Contract 3 Months West Sussex (L10556) Multiskilled maintenance engineer covering planned and breakdown maintenance to fast food production machinery. Working on ovens, conveyors, wrapping, labelling, packing and ancillary machinery. You will need experience and knowledge of motors, drives, PLC systems, hydraulics and pneumatics. You MUST have food industry experience and be aware of heath and hygiene regulations.
Person / Qualifications: Able to work on own initiative and part of a small team. Self motivated
C&G qualified, apprentice trained, HNC / ONC in electrical or mechanical engineering but have a good understanding of both aspects This position has been filled. |

£25K - £30K Pro Rata Contract Bedfordshire (G10567) Job Description: Our client is looking to recruit a dynamic mechanical engineer on a contract basis for their new production plant. You will work closely with management to deliver upon production engineering requirements, attending breakdowns, troubleshooting and rectifying faults, developing PPM routines & improving production processes. You will also be confident in detailing technical drawings for bespoke fabrications for retrofits to production equipment and subsequent mechanical fitting. You will also have a sound understanding in manufacturing quality techniques & systems & be a key player in developing & implementing sound procedures & policies. The ideal candidate will have experience within a manufacturing environment with quality responsibilities and preferably had involvement in new production start up’s. Candidates with recycling plant experience will be at a distinct advantage.

Being mechanically bias doing planned & breakdown maintenance able to read hydraulic & pneumatic schematics. Overseeing a team of mechanical & electrical engineers & reporting to the maintenance supervisor, it is important that you lead by example & therefore must hold these basic skills in order to direct & manage your team. £28K - £35K OTE £40K + Bens (L10348) Leicestershire Design of Precision Machine tool assemblies and systems, including production of detail drawings, BOM’s and assembly drawings. This is not toolmakers role you will be designing CNC machine tools i.e. laser cutting, milling, drilling machines etc. Liaison with suppliers (internal and external) Work concurrently with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure Design for Manufacture. Responsibility for all mechanical facets of the project from initial concepts through to production/completion
Person Specification: Previously worked within a mechanical design role preferably within a precision/machine tool industry and have experience of 3D CAD software, preferably AutoCAD Inventor. have a good knowledge of manufacturing methods, have the ability to negotiate, influence, and communicate effectively, with customers, vendors, and internal personnel at all levels, be able to carry out supporting calculations relating to designs. PC literate, particularly MS Office Desired abilities/attributes: Machine tool design Fixture Tool design CAM capabilities and Non-traditional machining processes such as Laser, EDM and ECM.
Qualifications: HNC/D, degree, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or directly related subject. |
