£30K OTE £40-£50K + Company Car Pension, BUPA & Bens North West Home Based (G10773) Working from home, this person will provide Engineering Sales cover from Staffordshire to Northern UK. Extensive travel is part of the role. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for sales to end users and specifiers for the Company's range of Steam Generators, Fire tube Steam Boilers, high temperature Thermal Fluid Heaters and Gaseous Effluent Thermal Oxidisers. The customer base is broad and includes the food, chemical, metal, pharmaceutical and marine industries plus important Public Sector opportunities.
You will develop specifications and projects to sell to new and existing users, thereby extending the current range of applications as well as finding and developing new sales opportunities.
Sales targets will be set by the Managing Director who will monitor your success to meet objectives through training and personal development as you become familiar with the broad range of products and services available from this International Group.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: A mechanical or chemical engineer with a proven track record in industrial sales within a steam or process engineering related environment is seen as ideal. Candidates qualified to Graduate/HNC level with clear potential will also be considered.
Knowledge of the area to be covered is preferred with the Candidate ideally being located around the Manchester area. The candidate must be able to work effectively without close supervision and must possess good organisational skills. The ability to communicate clearly with a capacity to prepare clear and precise reports is seen as essential.
Remuneration is in the form of a good basic salary plus commission and bonuses bringing on target earnings of to £40,000 and more. A quality car, contributory pension scheme and all necessary business communication devices are provided to ensure best use of resources.
This is a tough, demanding and rewarding job with a high degree of autonomy, which will allow the successful candidate to develop within a large industrial group. |

£35K Shropshire (L10645) NIGHTS Job Description: This is a NIGHT SHIFT role: Working for this progressive and expanding company you will be a time-served multi skilled engineer, preferably 50/50 although a bias towards mechanical is acceptable. Proven experience of hydraulic, pneumatic, motors, drives and bearings is essential. You will have a good understanding of electrical and be able to carry out planned and breakdown repairs in both aspects. Working on various food production equipment from packaging, labelling, conveyor and bottling machinery etc. This is a heavy automated site with current operating systems in lean manufacturing i.e. 5s, SMED and Kaizan. You will be of a self managing attitude and individually targeted to show 25k savings per annum through various process improvements / waste reduction etc. This role will consist of projects involvement and therefore will offer a varied aspect to the job.
