Job Description: To both Operate and Maintain a Power Plant;
This position requires an experienced multi skilled mechanical plant fitter/ technician to join our existing team of mechanical engineers. This hands-on role involves both daily operating and maintaining a Bio Fuel Combustion Plant, which generates 14MW electricity.
The plant includes HP steam raising boilers, steam turbine, water treatment plant, and associated equipment such as pumps, valves, and electric motor drives. Allen Bradley plc, ABB controllers and inverters. Preferably but not essentially experience of HV switching (11Kv) and operating generator sets, in parallel with the National Grid.
There are excellent opportunities for anyone wishing to take on additional shift supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications: Formal mechanical & electrical qualifications & commercial experience.
