Job Description:
This is a NIGHT SHIFT role: Working for this progressive and expanding company you will be a time-served multi skilled engineer, preferably 50/50 although a bias towards mechanical is acceptable. Proven experience of hydraulic, pneumatic, motors, drives and bearings is essential. You will have a good understanding of electrical and be able to carry out planned and breakdown repairs in both aspects. Working on various food production equipment from packaging, labelling, conveyor and bottling machinery etc. This is a heavy automated site with current operating systems in lean manufacturing i.e. 5s, SMED and Kaizan. You will be of a self managing attitude and individually targeted to show 25k savings per annum through various process improvements / waste reduction etc. This role will consist of projects involvement and therefore will offer a varied aspect to the job. Food, bottling, dairy, or brewery industry experience is the first preference alternatively automated production environment industry would be considered
